How much does it cost?
Scanner can be downloaded for free from the Apple Store and Google Play Store. iPhone users can complete inventory counts even if they don’t have an account with Lightspeed. However, Android users must sign into a Lightspeed account to use this feature.
Does it integrate with my POS system?
Scanner integrates with Lightspeed to sync your counts and stock levels, removing the need for CSV imports and manual uploads.
What if I don't have Lightspeed?

Why aren't my barcodes scanning?
Scanner supports many common barcodes and datamatrix codes: UPCE, Code39, Code39Mod43, EAN13, EAN8, Code93, Code128, PDF417, AztecCode, Interleaved2of5Code, ITF14Code, DataMatrixCode.
Does Scanner work on Android?
Yes, but you will need to sign in to an active Lightspeed account to use the app.
How do I download Scanner on to my iPad?
When searching for Scanner by on an iPad, adjust your search criteria in the App Store to ‘iPhone only’ to display the Scanner app. Then, simply download the app directly to your iPad.
How do I connect Lightspeed with Scanner?

Do I still need to send my count as a CSV?
No, once connected with Lightspeed, Scanner will sync your counts and stock levels with your back office. If you still wish to use Scanner for stock orders, transfers and returns, you will need to do this as a guest user (iPhone only) and share your CSV.
What if someone submits an incorrect count?
Every completed count in Scanner will get submitted to Lightspeed Web Register for approval by the account admin, before any stock levels are synced.

How do I use Scanner to check product information?
The Scanner app can be used to quickly retrieve information about products. Just sign into your Lightspeed store on the app. Tap the barcode icon in the top right to scan the product barcode, or search for the product in the search bar. Tap the product name to view the product inventory at each outlet, supply price and retail price, and description, tags, and supplier name.
Can I use Scanner by Lightspeed without signing in?
iPhone users can use Scanner as a guest (not signed in to your Lightspeed account). This way you’ll be able to create and add new products and then export this information as CSV files. These CSV files can then be used to create purchase orders, transfers, and returns in Lightspeed.
