Senior Manager, Revenue Operations

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by 👋

Are you actively looking for a new opportunity? Or just checking the market? Well
you might just be in the right place!

As the Senior Manager, Revenue Operations, you will lead two critical global pillars for Lightspeed: our Sales & Partner Commissions engine and the RevOps Capital GTM optimization & performance function. On the incentives side, you will own the end-to-end strategy, design, governance, and continuous optimization of all sales and partner commission programs, ensuring they are simple, scalable, compliant, and tightly aligned with our growth and profitability goals—while leading high-performing analyst teams to deliver accurate, timely, and trusted execution. On the RevOps Capital side, you will operate as the GTM performance “control tower,” driving forecasting, KPI frameworks, quota and coverage analytics, and weekly/monthly/quarterly business reviews that translate data into clear recommendations on investment, productivity, and commercial optimization. Partnering closely with RevOps, Finance, GTM, Legal, Enablement, and Information Systems leadership, you will ensure that every dollar we deploy in commissions and Capital programs is intentional, measurable, and focused on accelerating sustainable revenue growth and seller/partner performance globally.

What you’ll be doing:

Part 1 – Global Sales & Partner Commissions

  • Program strategy, design & analytics: Own the global design, governance, and continuous improvement of sales and partner commission frameworks, using deep quantitative analysis, scenario modeling, and performance data to ensure incentives are simple, scalable, and tightly aligned with growth and profitability goals.

  • Commission operations, systems & scalability: Lead end-to-end commission execution for sales and partners, ensuring payouts are accurate, timely, and aligned with contracts and plan documents; drive the transition from manual processes to scalable systems and tools, embedding robust controls, automation, and data quality.

  • Insights, GTM impact & executive reporting: Turn commission and performance data into actionable insights for GTM leaders, highlighting behavioral trends, risks, and opportunities; own monthly executive readouts and presentations, delivering clear narratives and recommendations grounded in data.

  • Stakeholder management & change leadership: Act as the primary RevOps point of contact for Sales, Partnerships, Finance, Legal, and IS on incentive topics; lead cross-functional changes to plan design, tooling, and processes, managing communication, enablement, and adoption across regions and teams.

  • Team leadership & development: Manage, coach, and develop Sales and Partner Commissions Analysts, setting clear priorities, KPIs, and quality standards while fostering a high-performance, detail-oriented culture focused on accuracy, accountability, insights, and continuous improvement.

Part 2 – RevOps Capital (Planning, Reporting & Performance)

  • Forecasting & reforecasting: Lead the end-to-end forecasting and reforecasting cadence for the Capital business (EOM, EOQ, EOY), refining assumptions with GTM and Finance based on macro trends, pipeline quality, and performance.

  • Quota, coverage & capacity modeling: Drive quota-setting, coverage, and capacity models for Capital GTM roles, providing data-backed recommendations that align with company targets, TAM, and productivity benchmarks.

  • Performance cadence (WBR/MBR/QBR): Own the weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance review cadence for Capital, bringing a “control tower” view of pipeline, bookings, portfolio metrics, and rep-level performance, and turning insights into clear actions with GTM leadership.

  • KPI frameworks & strategic planning: Define and evolve KPI frameworks to measure Capital health and efficiency across the lifecycle, and translate insights into recommendations on where to invest, optimize, and improve unit economics.

  • Cross-functional alignment & communication: Partner with Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Risk, and Enablement to align Capital GTM plans and reporting with company priorities; communicate complex analyses and options in clear, executive-ready narratives.

  • Team & capability building: Build and mature RevOps Capital analytical capabilities, defining ways of working, tooling, and best practices, while coaching team members to strengthen strategic thinking, business acumen, and influence with senior stakeholders.

What you need to bring:

  • 8-10 years in SaaS or technology, ideally in Revenue Operations, Finance, or related GTM operations roles. 4+ years of people management experience leading high-performing analytical teams.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field; Master’s is a plus.

  • Strong background in incentive compensation and sales/partner commissions, from design and modeling to operational execution.

  • Hands-on experience with forecasting, planning, and performance management in partnership with Finance and GTM leadership.

  • Highly analytical, process-oriented, and detail-focused, with experience using systems/tools (commission platforms, CRM, BI) to scale operations.

  • Excellent communication and executive presence, with a track record of presenting insights and recommendations to senior leadership; experience in Financial Services or Capital products is a plus.

  • As a global company with employees and clients outside of Quebec, fluency in English as a working language is required for this position

What will make you successful:

  • Exceptional analytical & quantitative skills: You’re comfortable deep in spreadsheets, models, and dashboards, turning complex performance and commission data into clear, actionable insights.

  • Strategic systems thinker: You can zoom out to design scalable frameworks for incentives, forecasting, and performance management, while staying close enough to the details to spot risks and edge cases.

  • Clear, confident communicator: You can explain complex commission logic, trade-offs, and Capital performance insights to executives and front-line teams in simple, compelling language.

  • Change leadership & influence: You’re skilled at driving adoption of new plans, tools, and processes across GTM, Finance, Legal, and IS, building buy-in rather than just enforcing rules.

  • Operator mindset & bias for action: You care about accuracy and control, but you also move fast—constantly looking for ways to streamline, automate, and improve how the work gets done.

  • Collaborative team player: You build strong relationships across functions and regions, balancing partner/revenue goals with governance, compliance, and operational feasibility.

  • People leadership & talent development: You enjoy coaching analytical talent, setting clear expectations, giving feedback, and building a high-performance culture grounded in ownership and accountability.
