The Lightspeed Ambassador Program is designed for retail consultants and operators who help businesses find the right commerce technology. Ambassadors can connect qualified retailers with Lightspeed and earn $500 when an eligible referral successfully activates on Lightspeed Retail.

Where is the Ambassador Program available?

The program is currently available in North America, including the United States and Canada. We are evaluating opportunities to expand into additional regions.

How much can I earn?

You can earn $500 for every eligible referral that successfully activates. There is no limit on the number of qualified merchants you can refer.

Is there a minimum number of referrals I need to make?

No. There are no minimum referral targets or annual commitments as long as you remain an active Ambassador. Refer eligible retailers whenever you identify a good fit.

Who can I refer?

You can refer businesses looking for a B2B commerce solution in a covered territory that are not already active Lightspeed Retail customers. Final eligibility is confirmed based on our program terms and conditions.

How do I submit a referral?

Once you become a Lightspeed Ambassador, you will receive a custom referral link and landing page. Submit every referral through this channel so we can attribute the lead correctly.

What happens after I submit a referral?

Lightspeed takes it from there. Our team will connect with your referral to learn more about their business and determine whether Lightspeed Retail is the right fit for them.

When do I receive my $500 reward?

You’ll earn your $500 reward when an eligible referred merchant successfully activates on Lightspeed Retail, subject to the Ambassador Program terms and conditions. Commissions are processed once the customer account is live and transactional, typically within three months of activation.

What if someone else refers the same company?

Rewards are issued on a first-come, first-served basis. Credit and rewards are awarded solely to the Ambassador who submits the lead first.
