Manager, Revenue Operations
Hi there! Thanks for stopping by 👋
Are you actively looking for a new opportunity? Or just checking the market? Well… you might just be in the right place!
Lightspeed is looking for a Revenue Operations Manager to join our Global Revenue Planning & Reporting team as the owner of GTM governance, operating rules, and performance tooling. In this role, you'll define how the GTM organization runs - setting the policies, business rules, and system requirements that keep Sales, Marketing, and Finance aligned and moving in the same direction.
This is a high-ownership role for someone who thinks in systems and thrives on clarity. You'll sit at the intersection of strategy and execution, translating GTM policy into airtight business rules and making sure those rules are reflected accurately across every tool and process the organization depends on. If you're energized by bringing order to complexity and you believe strong governance is what defines a scalable GTM motion - this role is for you.
What you’ll be doing:
Own GTM operating rules - define and maintain the rules of engagement that govern how the GTM org works: account categorization, routing, ownership assignment, and lifecycle status definitions across Salesforce and connected systems
Translate policy into system requirements - act as the bridge between GTM leadership decisions and Information Systems, ensuring every business rule is documented, implemented, and auditable
Own metric governance - define and maintain the metric definitions, attribution rules, and reporting standards that the business relies on to measure itself; be the authority when definitions are challenged or inconsistent
Govern major GTM process changes - lead cross-functional alignment on significant process changes (new business models, routing overhauls, territory changes) from policy definition through system implementation
Define tooling requirements - identify gaps in the current GTM tooling stack, articulate requirements clearly, and partner with Systems and Data teams to deliver scalable solutions
Build governance infrastructure - document policies, business rules, and process frameworks in a way that makes them accessible, maintainable, and usable by the teams who depend on them
And a little bit of....
Contributing as part of the wider team to achieve organisational objectives even if this means doing things that aren’t strictly within the scope of your role.
You write the rule before you build the workflow - policy clarity is your default, not an afterthought
You can hold a room of GTM leaders to a definition and make them thank you for it
You close loops - when you own something, it gets done and stays done
You see governance as an enabler of speed, not a blocker of it
How you will succeed:
GTM business rules are documented, current, and auditable - no tribal knowledge
Reduction in cross-functional escalations caused by undefined or conflicting rules
Policy-to-implementation cycle time shrinks quarter over quarter
Core GTM metrics have a single, agreed definition that stakeholders actually use
Tooling gaps are scoped and handed off with structured requirements - not just flagged
Governance docs are maintained and usable, not shelfware
What you need to bring:
5+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or a GTM strategy & operations function
Salesforce fluency - you understand how object relationships, workflows, and automation translate business policy into operational reality
Proven experience owning business rules, attribution frameworks, or operating model governance in a B2B SaaS environment
Strong cross-functional track record - you've worked with IS, Data, Marketing, and Sales leadership to drive aligned decisions and system changes
Comfort working with BigQuery and Looker to validate, QA, and interrogate data that underpins business rules
Experience documenting complex policies and translating them into clear, actionable requirements for technical teams
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or a related field
Familiarity with Looker, Pigment, or Spiff is a plus
As a global company with employees and clients outside of Quebec, fluency in English as a working language is required for this position
