We’re looking for an Account Executive to join our German Speaking team in Spain. In this role, you’ll focus on building meaningful relationships with prospects and supporting them through every stage of their journey. You’ll nurture opportunities created by our Sales Development Representatives and Marketing Campaigns, guiding potential customers towards solutions that help their businesses thrive.
Your goal will be to consistently contribute to team and individual revenue goals by cultivating a healthy pipeline of new Lightspeed customers.
Please note this role is based in Spain with a must requirement of speaking German fluently
What you will be doing:
Nurture and convert qualified leads generated by Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and inbound marketing campaigns.
Build and manage a strong sales pipeline of new Lightspeed customers across [Location] hospitality and retail sectors.
Conduct effective discovery calls to understand prospect needs and position Lightspeed as the ideal solution.
Deliver compelling, tailored product demonstrations that showcase value and drive engagement.
Manage multiple end-to-end sales cycles, from first contact through to activation and onboarding.
Proactively identify and pursue additional prospecting opportunities to support pipeline growth.
Collaborate closely with SDRs to continuously improve lead qualification and handover processes.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to ensure clear pipeline visibility and forecasting.

Contribute to and execute sales and marketing initiatives aimed at enhancing the customer experience and increasing Lightspeed's Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR).
Contributing as part of the wider team to achieve organisational objectives even if this means doing things that aren’t strictly within the scope of your role.
What you need to bring:
Fluency in German
Proven success managing the full 360° sales cycle, from outbound prospecting and discovery through to closing and post-sales engagement.
Demonstrated experience in technology-related industries such as SaaS, cloud solutions, POS systems, IT, telecommunications, e-commerce, or software sales.
Background in sales, account management, or business development, with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
Experience in outbound sales environments, including cold calling, lead generation, and pipeline building, showcasing a proactive approach to selling.
Prior experience in hospitality operations (e.g., restaurants, hotels) is a strong advantage, offering valuable insight into customer challenges and workflows.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to lead persuasive conversations and deliver tailored solutions.
Adaptable and results-driven, thriving in fast-paced, target-oriented environments with a focus on strategic problem-solving.
Skilled at using CRM tools like Salesforce to manage pipelines, track performance, and maintain accurate customer records.
