This week we released our latest update: Hero at Large – a pretty large release with some big fixes, along with several smaller updates and bug fixes. We’ll start with the fun ones…

  • We created the option to update an item’s description field with a catalog update.
  • The Mailing Labels were sometimes showing a white page with nothing to print. This is fixed.
  • Employees without the right to refund could still refund a transaction via roundabout methods. This is fixed.
  • Gift Cards that were added to a sale before the customer’s name was added were not getting the customer’s name attached in the Gift Cards section under Customers. This is fixed.
  • When removing administration rights from an employee, void rights were removed as well. We fixed this and the void tab now shows up.
  • When items were changed from “Inventory Items” to “Non-inventory Items” the quantity on hand was not defaulting to zero. This is fixed.
  • When adding items to a Master Order and exporting to an Excel file, an error message would come up. This is fixed.
  • We created a default Workorder template.
  • There was a formatting error when printing on Macs with Firefox version 19.0 or newer. This is fixed.
  • You can now sync Sinclair Imports, Downeast Bicycle Specialists, and Hans Johnson bicycle product catalogs to MerchantOS.
