We bring to you two releases today, a legacy release, and a LightSpeed Cloud release.

“Jayne Mansfield’s Car” legacy changes:

  • Giant Item Availability now works. Previously, Giant Purchase Orders would not show if the item was available. Instead you just got a hideous “Item Not Found” response.
  • KHS Purchase Order Uploads now submitting to KHS servers. PO’s submitted from Cloud weren’t making their way to KHS.
  • API manual is no longer branded with MerchantOS. It says LightSpeed Cloud now.
  • Demo accounts now expire within 14 days. Previously, they expired in 30 days.
  • Account signup is even smoother. The “Start Your Free Trial” process is expedited by propagating the first & last name, as well as the Shop name in First Start. It’s amazing what a few less keystrokes can do.
  • API end points added for SalesForce. SaleForce will now be able to do more Cloud account management.

“Rosewood” Cloud changes:

  • Canada GST + PST receipts print correctly. Before the two tax rates & amounts were not showing up on receipts. The receipts look lovely now.
  • Time clocks now work in Cloud.

These changes went live October 3rd. See more about Jayne’s rosewood car below.

Jayne Mansfield’s Car (2012)

Alabama; 1969: The death of a clan’s estranged wife and mother brings together two very different families. Do the scars of the past hide differences that will tear them apart, or expose truths that could lead to unexpected collisions?

Rosewood
