Although we are well into the month of January, our motivation is at an all-time high to deliver new features and bug fixes.

New Features

  • Category and subcategory limit: All merchants can now add a maximum of 2,000 categories and subcategories to match the limit allowed in Lightspeed eCom. If you’ve reached your limit, you will be notified the next time you attempt to create a new category or subcategory. Under special circumstances, you can increase your limit by contacting Support (click here for more information).CLD-12563

Bug Fixes

  • Exporting the Totals and Grouped Sales by Customer reports using excluded customer tags: When exporting the Totals and Grouped Sales Totals by Customer reports, the excluded customer tags also exclude sales with no customers. This issue is now fixed.CLD-12294
  • Cannot exclude serialized items from Item Search results: When filtering in the Item Search section for specific item types, Serialized items can’t be excluded from the search results. This issue is now fixed with a new Serialized filter in the Advanced Search drop-down.CLD-12449
  • Removing taxes on items causes out of balance sales: When removing taxes on item during a sale, the sale is recorded as out of balance. CLD-12453
  • Tax subtotals displaying incorrectly on receipts: When using multiple tax classes, the tax subtotals are displaying an incorrect number on receipts. This issue is now fixed. CLD-9340

Our omnichannel initiative to further fuse your brick-and-mortar business to your online store is in full swing. Here are the new features and bug fixes we’ve been working on.

New Features

  • Custom fields in eCom show as notes on sale lines in Retail: If a sale line has a custom field in eCom with a price or percentage value, it will be pushed to your Retail account as an item note. This allows you to track and understand why the price of an item is higher than it’s default price. You can see this note in the Lines section of your transaction or on the receipt (click here for more information).EMID-984

Bug Fixes

  • Customer’s company name doesn’t save correctly: When a customer enters their company name online, it is not save correctly in their customer record in Retail. This issue is now fixed. EMID-606
