Lightspeed Edge Event Prize Draw

1. Eligibility:

1.1. The Lightspeed Edge Event Prize Draw (the “Draw”) is offered by Lightspeed Netherlands B.V. and its affiliates (“Lightspeed”) and is open to all prospective and existing Lightspeed customers attending the Lightspeed Edge Event (the “Event”) being held on May 12, 2025 in London, United Kingdom (“Eligible Customers”).

1.2. One (1) representative from each Eligible Customer will automatically be entered in the Draw on behalf of the Eligible Customer upon checking in to the Event. Limit of one (1) entry per Eligible Customer.

1.3. Eligible Customers can only benefit from the offer(s) and claim their Prize (as described below) to the extent they agree to all of these terms and conditions.

2. Winner Selection and Notification:

2.1. Two (2) winners (the “Winners”) will be selected by random draw from all entries received in accordance with these terms. Winners will be announced live during the Event and will be contacted by Lightspeed via email (the “Confirmation Notice”) no later than five (5) working days following the Event to coordinate delivery of the Prize (as described below) in accordance with these terms. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received in accordance with these terms.

2.2. Lightspeed will make reasonable efforts to contact the Winners via email through the contact information provided by the Winners upon their registration to the Event. If a Winner (i) is found to be ineligible (at Lightspeed’s sole discretion), (ii) advises Lightspeed that it refuses the Prize or (iii) does not accept to be bound by any of these terms and conditions, the Prize will be forfeited and Lightspeed reserves the right (but will not be required) to offer the Prize to another Winner to be selected by another random draw.

2.3. Winners will be deemed to have accepted their Prize upon fulfilling the applicable conditions precedent, as set forth in these terms and conditions and which will be reiterated in the Confirmation Notice.

2.4. By accepting a Prize, the Winners agree that their name and entry may be (i) used for the purpose of publishing or distributing to individuals who request details of the winner of the Draw and/or (ii) in any related publicity by Lightspeed, without additional payment or permission.

3. Prizes:

3.1. Subject to these terms and conditions, each Winner will be awarded the following prizes (collectively, the “Prize”):

3.1.1. Twelve (12) months’ free subscription to one (1) Lightspeed Restaurant POS (K-Series) plan (the “Subscription Prize”), as further detailed below; and

3.1.2. One (1) free piece of Lightspeed Restaurant hardware (the “Hardware Prize”), as detailed further below.

3.2. This promotion does not apply to any other hardware, software or services purchased or subscribed to by an Eligible Customer.

3.3. The Prize is non-transferable, non-assignable, and subject to availability. The Prize cannot be combined with any other Lightspeed offers or discounts. No substitutions or cash redemptions will be offered, except at Lightspeed’s discretion.

3.4. Subscription Prize:

3.4.1. Winners shall be entitled to a free twelve (12) month subscription to any one (1) Lightspeed Restaurant POS (K-Series) plan for one (1) business location, subject to these terms and conditions.

3.4.2. Lightspeed reserves the right to substitute the Subscription Prize with alternatives of equal or greater value if Lightspeed Restaurant is or becomes unavailable at the time of Winner accepting their Prize.
3.4.3. The free twelve (12) month subscription period (the “Free Subscription Period”) shall begin (i) for new Lightspeed Restaurant customers, on the effective date of their Plan (as defined herein), or (ii) for existing Lightspeed Restaurant customers, on the first day of the Winner’s next billing cycle after accepting their Prize. The Subscription Prize only applies for twelve (12) months, and does not extend to any additional or subsequent licences, add-ons, renewals, hardware, or installation services.

3.4.4. By accepting the Subscription Prize, Winners acknowledge and agree that following the expiry of the Free Subscription Period, their use of their Lightspeed Restaurant plan will be subject to applicable fees as identified in the Plan terms (as defined herein), or, for existing Lightspeed Restaurant customers, as set forth in their existing agreement with Lightspeed.

3.5. Hardware Prize:

3.5.1. Winners shall be entitled to receive their choice of either:

3.5.1.1. one (1) free Lightspeed Restaurant Kitchen Display System (KDS) screen; or

3.5.1.2. one (1) free Lightspeed Restaurant Tableside Bundle (“Tableside Bundle”), consisting of: one (1) iPhone, one (1) phone case for Lightspeed Tableside, and one (1) Mobile Tap reader. Tableside Bundles can only be used to take orders and payments through Lightspeed Tableside, and are not compatible to be used for any other purposes.

3.5.2. Lightspeed reserves the right to substitute the Hardware Prize chosen by the Winner with alternatives of equal or greater value if the selected Hardware Prize is or becomes unavailable at the time of Winner accepting their Prize.

3.5.3. The Hardware Prize does not extend to any software licences, add-ons, renewals, installation services. Fees for additional products and services may apply.

4. Prize Conditions:

4.1.1. The Prize is conditional on the Winner subscribing to a twenty-four (24) month Lightspeed Restaurant POS (K-Series) plan (a “Plan”) on or before June 12, 2025, and continuing to be bound by such Plan for the duration of its term. Winners acknowledge that they will be required to enter into a separate agreement with Lightspeed and accept to be bound by the terms of the Service Agreement (as defined herein) in order to be eligible to claim their Prize.

4.1.2. For Winners who are existing Lightspeed Restaurant POS (K-Series) customers, the Prize is conditional on the Winner (i) having at least twenty-four (24) months remaining on their existing agreement with Lightspeed at the time of accepting the Prize, (ii) agreeing, on or before June 12, 2025, to extend the term of their existing agreement with Lightspeed such that the remaining term on their existing agreement shall be at least twenty-four (24) months at the time of accepting the Prize, or (iii) entering into a new twenty-four (24)-month Lightspeed Restaurant POS (K-Series) plan on or before June 12, 2025, and, in all cases, continuing to be bound by such agreement for the duration of its term. For purposes of these terms and conditions, existing Lightspeed Restaurant POS (K-Series) customers entering into a new agreement with Lightspeed in accordance with point (iii) above are considered new Lightspeed Restaurant customers.

4.1.3. Winners must also be existing Lightspeed Payments customers, or agree to use Lightspeed Payments in order to claim their Prize. Activating Lightspeed Payments (and therefore becoming eligible for any promotion, discount or savings relating to it) is subject to approval by Lightspeed of the Lightspeed Payments Merchant Application. The Winners acknowledge that certain industries and certain jurisdictions cannot be serviced by Lightspeed Payments. Lightspeed reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to determine the eligible industries.

4.1.4. By accepting the Prize, the Winner acknowledges and agrees that the Prize is conditional on the Winner using the Lightspeed Restaurant POS (K-Series) services and Lightspeed Payments for at least twenty-four (24) months from the date of accepting the Prize. Lightspeed reserves the right to revoke the Prize, require that the Winner return the Hardware Prize, and charge Winner for the value of the Prize (plus shipping costs), if the Winner (i) ceases to use the Lightspeed Restaurant POS (K-Series) services and/or Lightspeed Payments before the expiry of the twenty-four (24) month term; (ii) does not begin processing transactions with Lightspeed Payments within thirty (30) days of the date of accepting the Prize or (iii) as it relates to the Hardware Prize, does not continue to process bona fide transactions representing a minimum daily average of 100.00 in local currency in transaction volume, as measured monthly, with Lightspeed Payments for at least twenty-four (24) months from the date of accepting the Prize.

4.1.5. If a Winner (i) does not agree to subscribe to a Plan, as set forth in these terms and conditions, (ii) does not agree to use Lightspeed Payments or is determined to not be eligible to use Lightspeed Payments, or (iii) otherwise refuses to be bound by the Service Agreement (as defined below) or by these terms and conditions, they will be deemed to have forfeited their Prize, and Lightspeed reserves the right (but will not be required) to offer the Prize to another Winner to be selected by another random draw.

5. Additional Terms:

5.1.1. Winners acknowledge that by accepting the Prize, they agree to be bound by the Lightspeed Service Agreement (the “Service Agreement”), available at https://www.lightspeedhq.com/legal/lightspeed-service-agreement/.

5.1.2. Any personal information collected in connection with this Draw will be used solely for the purposes of this Draw and will not be passed on to any other parties, except as expressly set forth in these terms and conditions, without your prior agreement. 5.1.3. To the extent permitted by law, Lightspeed, its affiliates, their respective agents, directors, officers, employees, representatives, consultants and advisors shall not be liable for any claims, damages, injuries, costs and expenses suffered, sustained or incurred (including but not limited to indirect or consequential damages) as a result of, arising out of, or in any way connected with this Draw.

5.1.4. Lightspeed may extend, change, suspend or terminate this Draw or modify its terms at any time. Lightspeed’s decisions on all matters relating to the Draw are final and binding.

5.1.5. Any dispute relating to the competition shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
