Partner Enablement Trainer

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by 👋

Are you actively looking for a new opportunity? Or just checking the market? Well… you might just be in the right place!

We’re looking for a Partner Enablement Trainer to join us and take ownership of in-person or remote live training delivery across our entire partner ecosystem in EMEA.

You’ll be the person who makes sure new partners can actually sell, implement, and support Lightspeed products on their own. From referral and ambassador partners through to expert partners and resellers, you’ll run the enablement sessions that take them from contract signing to certification and beyond.

***Please note that this role is based in Berlin, Germany***

What you'll be doing:

  • Design and deliver live enablement sessions for new and existing partners across EMEA, covering product knowledge, sales positioning, demo techniques, and implementation workflows

    • These sessions can be remote or in-person.

  • Run partner onboarding programs from contract signing through to certification, adapting your approach based on partner type and tier: high-touch for expert partners and resellers, streamlined for referral and ambassador partners

  • Track training completion, engagement metrics, and partner readiness, and report on outcomes to stakeholders across Partnerships and Launch

  • Actively shape and contribute to training content based on what works in live delivery, maintaining a tight feedback loop with the Partner Implementation Trainer

  • Build and maintain automated onboarding paths for low-touch partner tiers (ambassador, referral), freeing your capacity for the partners who need it most

  • Shadow Sales Engineers and Sales on co-selling deals during your first six months to absorb real product positioning and objection handling from live customer interactions

  • After the ramp, continue learning by observing how trained partners sell in practice, feeding those insights back into improved training content

  • Work closely with Partner Growth Managers to ensure shared accountability for partner engagement post-contract: you own training delivery, they own driving partner participation

  • Coordinate with Implementation Partner Managers for technical validation on complex partner cases, and with Partner Growth Managers for local-language sales coaching and positioning support

And a little bit of....

  • Supporting the onboarding of new Partner Development Managers and Partner Growth Managers on processes, certification workflows, and training tools

  • Attending and presenting at partner events across EMEA when required, delivering sessions on product knowledge, sales positioning, and best practices aligned to partner enablement objectives.

What you will bring to the team:

  • 3+ years in training delivery, partner enablement, sales enablement, or a similar customer/partner-facing training role within a SaaS or technology company

  • Proven ability to design and deliver engaging live training sessions (virtual and in-person) to external audiences

  • Strong understanding of sales processes, product positioning, and how to translate technical product knowledge into actionable training for non-technical audiences

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal - an additional European language is a strong plus

  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, partnerships, and product teams

  • Comfortable working in a remote-first, EMEA-wide environment across multiple time zones

Big plus:

  • Experience in the hospitality, retail, or POS/payments industry

  • You’ve worked with LMS platforms, training automation tools, or learner community environments

  • Background in channel/partner ecosystems with an understanding of tiered partner models

  • Experience building automated onboarding flows or self-serve training paths
