Bicycles Quilicot has been part of the Lightspeed family for over a decade. After moving away from a PC-based system in 2010, the team transitioned to Macs and adopted Lightspeed OnSite to modernize their operations. The switch centralized their data and streamlined daily workflows across their growing number of stores.

As the business evolved, Bicycles Quilicot upgraded to Lightspeed Retail to take advantage of its cloud-based flexibility and powerful features. 

Today, with multiple physical locations, an online presence and up to 120 employees during peak season, the team at Bicycles Quilicot depends on Lightspeed to manage their extensive catalog, unify customer data and handle service orders like bike repairs.

They use Lightspeed to track every product (from bikes and parts to apparel and accessories) and ensure accurate stock levels across stores.  The team also leverages Lightspeed’s reporting features to monitor performance and make smarter inventory decisions across all locations.

On the service side, Lightspeed’s built-in repair and service module helps the team handle everything from quick tune-ups to major overhauls. Each work order is tracked within the same system, so staff can see parts used in repairs and maintain consistent service standards.

The catalog integration with vendors is also a great feature. We use it to import products faster when building up a work order with special order parts that are not yet in our database.

Whether a customer shops online or visits a location for service, their information, purchase history and preferences are always updated. 

As André-Philippe explains,  “If a customer buys something in the store and then two weeks later wants to buy something on the web store, their account will already be created.”
