Meet Sally Abé
Sally Abé is the chef behind Teal by Sally Abé, her debut solo restaurant in Hackney, East London. After nearly two decades cooking in some of Britain's most celebrated kitchens, including The Savoy, The Ledbury, Claridge's, and The Harwood Arms, Sally opened Teal to celebrate the best of British produce and cooking.
Known for her focus on quality, sustainability, and mentoring women in professional kitchens, she continues to use her platform to advocate for equity in kitchens, championing the next generation of female chefs and calling out gender inequality. Sally brings bold flavour and classic technique to menus rooted in nostalgia and place.

Sally's recipes
We worked with Sally to create three classic British recipes, with a twist.
Make a Sunday roast with homemade ketchup, a full English breakfast with hot honey, or fish & chips with seaweed-battered hake.
