Why automatic Old Price Application?
No customer wants to be misled and as a webshop certainly does not want to be known for that. The European Parliament and the European Council have also very recently introduced a new law, so that customers can no longer be misled with ‘false discounts’.
With the automatic Old Price Application you let the application automatically set the old prices according to the guidelines drawn up by the European Parliament and the European Council thus you prevent misleading advertising and any sanctions from the ACM.

How does automatic Old Price Application work?
In the application you can set how long you have to look at the rightful old price. The minimum for this is 30 days. When the application is activated, the application will want to set the old price for all products and will look at all price changes from the moment of activation. So there will be no looking at price changes from the past.
It is possible to exclude categories from the automatic Old Price Application operation.
Example of how the application works:
If a product has a price of 10$ and the price is changed down to 8$, then in the next 30 days the 'of price' (which is the old_price) will remain 8$, even though the price might have changed in those days.
When does the filling in of the old price stop:
- As soon as the price of a product goes up again, there should no longer be a 'of price'.
So if the price becomes higher than the last 'old_price', it is emptied by the application.
2. If the shop already has the same prices for x days (the number of set days), the 'from/for price' stops and the 'old_price' is emptied and there is only the 'for price'.
