What’s new in the Lightspeed Restaurant 7.24 app?
Introducing a new cash drawer role. We created a new user permission called “Allow open cash drawer from Extra menu.” This new role is automatically and only available for users with the “Allow open cash drawer” permission enabled.
What does this mean for you? Only POS users or groups assigned the “Allow open cash cash drawer” role will be able to open the cash drawer from the Restaurant app > Tables screen > Extra menu.
