Lightspeed is looking for an SEO manager to help the company expand its organic search presence and improve our SEO positions/rankings for conversion driving key terms. The desired candidate will be able to consistently monitor our organic rankings on a number of targeted keywords, and the success of their performance will be measured by a variety of metrics including: number of quality backlinks obtained, improvements of keyword rankings in Google, number of leads generated from non-branded organic search listings and of course number of closed won deals resulting from those leads.

Responsibilities and Requirements

The SEO Manager should have a solid understanding of how organic search works, be able to work closely with the content team to ensure internal and external links are driving traffic to the correct pages, and should pride themselves on their ability to get Lightspeed listed on the first page of Google.

Also, the SEO Manager should have a firm grasp of technical SEO including but not limited to: mobile first architecture, site speed (and its impact on organic rankings), meta tags, title tags, header tags, keyword density, and much more.

We are looking for someone with 2-4 years experience and a proven track record in successfully expanding an organic search profile of a company.
