Lightspeed is seeking a Senior Account Manager to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue through relationships with Lightspeed’s existing Hospitality Mid-Market clients through up-selling and renewals. You will play a key role in managing customer happiness, and will use these discussions to ensure customer retention and business growth. 

What you'll be responsible for: 

  • Manage a book of business consisting of current Lightspeed Mid-Market & Enterprise customers in the hospitality industry
  • Work with clients to identify growth opportunities as well as retaining existing business
  • Achieve and surpass monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas
  • Effectively manage accounts through a defined sales and retention process
  • Work in collaboration with Lightspeed’s Professional Services, Customer Success and Support teams
  • Lead one-on-one screen sharing presentations as required
  • Handle other duties and responsibilities as defined by management

What you'll be bringing to the team:

  • 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in a solution‐sales / technology‐related environment
  • Excellent written and telephone communication skills in English
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Passion for people and technology
  • A high level of technical aptitude
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure

Even better if you have, but not necessary: 

  • Expertise, experience in the hospitality industry
  • Fluency in French
  • Knowledge of SaaS, POS, Payment Processing, Database, or ERP system experience
  • Lead Generation Experience
