If you’re keen to join us, we’re looking for a Housekeeping and Maintenance Technician to join our team in Tbilisi, Georgia.

The Team

We are the eCommerce business unit, and our goal is to enable merchants to grow their businesses. As Lightspeed grows, we are bringing and integrating the Lightspeed ecosystem, including payments, shipping, and other services, to help our merchants build the most unique experience for their customers.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Ensure the kitchen is stocked and ready to welcome employees
  • Establish contacts with office perk suppliers and monitor the timely turnout of applicable invoices
  • Ensure all areas of the office are fully functioning throughout the day
  • Assist the Office Manager with special projects and tasks
  • Assemble small office furniture
  • Assist with the stock of office supplies
  • Identify office maintenance needs and remedy as needed, and service required on a daily basis
  • Keep track of maintenance and suppliers and provide daily updates on the Recommended Services Tbilisi document
  • Maintain and schedule service for all electrical equipment and monitor the air conditioning system with the support of the Office Manager and vendor’s representatives
  • Report to the Office Operations Team Lead, with support on-site from the Office Manager

What You Need to Bring:

  • Empathy: passion and willingness to help people
  • Excellent local expertise (knowledge of local services & experts)
  • A technical qualification and knowledge of technical processes (electrical, mechanical, and plumbing)
  • Basic home repair skills
  • Flexibility with working hours (evening shifts or weekend day shifts might be required occasionally)
  • Obsessive attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Current driver's license
  • Roadworthy vehicle with a current technical inspection report
  • Language skills: Georgian — native; Fluent Russian (reading, speaking, writing); English — strong writing skills
