Marketing Project Coordinator

Lightspeed is looking for a Marketing Project Coordinator to join the Amsterdam Marketing team. You will be responsible for scheduling and monitoring all Marketing campaigns and project activities in order to support the team delivery. You will initiate new tasks and projects into our Project Management platform (Jira), and ensure tasks are completed on time and delivered in coordination with other campaign projects. Working with the creative services and digital teams, you will schedule tasks and the steps to meet due dates. You will work very closely in collaboration with the European team to understand project deliverables, keeping them apprised to ensure on-time delivery.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Monitor the workflow of the creative and digital services teams within our project tools to help ensure alignment and on-time delivery of Marketing Communications assets
  • Input new activities into our project management platform for campaigns, advertisements and various collateral work
  • Daily monitoring and communications with Managers so they can adjust project schedules according to workloads and priorities to maintain smooth workflows and processes
  • Partner with the Montreal team to provide support in their effort to ensure all projects, specifications, and deadlines are localized
  • Consistently monitor and report on KPI’s and the progress of the projects, assets, and campaigns to stakeholders
  • Support weekly project planning meetings
  • Provide additional support to the Marketing team as needed with purchase orders and other such activities
  • Be responsible for the overall delivery of all European marketing projects
  • Support the Marketing Manager with other projects required


  • 2-3 years experience in Project Management in the field of Digital Marketing
  • Understanding all campaign assets needed
  • Experience with Project Management tools and systems
  • Takes initiative and prioritizes tasks; ability to track tasks in project management software tool, and flag issues to campaign managers for problem-solving
  • Flexible in responding to changes in business priorities; proven ability to work effectively and efficiently under multiple, competing deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to interface with all levels of management is essential
  • A clear understanding of meeting project deadlines
  • Comfortable with working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Fluency in English
