Lightspeed is seeking a full-time Junior Marketing Analyst to join our marketing team. Reporting to the Marketing analytics and system Manager, this role is responsible for primarily supporting Marketing departments by analyzing data from multiples sources. Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on digital marketing, using a variety of KPIs
  • Provide in-depth statistical analysis on all data points as required
  • Collaborate as needed to develop ad-hoc reports and analyses
  • Identify key trends in data for use by management
  • Manage a wide variety of other daily tasks including data entry and data cleaning
  • Handle other duties and responsibilities as defined by management
  • Conduct ROI analysis of all marketing activities (SEO, SEM, social, emails campaigns, trade shows)
  • Make recommendations about campaigns that would improve conversion rate based on data analysis
  • Create and maintain reports on the effectiveness of content marketing activities on business impact and provide insights and recommendations for optimization
  • Develop models/dashboards to track marketing activities performance

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing, IT, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Experience with Google Analytics, or other web analytics tool
  • Knowledge of conversions rates, web and other marketing data
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM
  • Experience in digital marketing
  • Ability to work independently
  • Proven ability for accurate reporting and analysis
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Excellent typing and multi-tasking skills

Assets

  • 2-3 years experience in a data management role
  • Fluency in French
  • Knowledge of Python/R
  • Experience with Looker BI
  • Experience with ETL tool (Fivetran)
  • Retail experience
  • Interest in technology
