Lightspeed is seeking a full-time Business Analyst to join our Sales Operations team. Reporting to the Director of Sales Operations, this role is responsible for supporting go-to-market teams (read: Sales, Marketing and Support) by evaluating business needs, collecting insight and analyzing data. Primary Responsibilities

  • Collect requirements from stakeholders and execute ad-hoc reporting requirements via Looker, Salesforce, or other reporting tools
  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on sales, marketing, and financial performance using Lightspeed’s primary KPIs
  • Provide insight on our systems with the goal of constantly improving the quality of analyses
  • Manage Salesforce.com activities, including reporting, data cleansing, pipeline exports and data imports
  • Help to define new models to provide accurate revenue forecasting
  • Communicate data-driven insights and recommendations to key stakeholders
  • Take proactive steps in looking at trends of Lightspeed’s key metrics
  • Manage a wide variety of other daily tasks related to data quality
  • Handle other duties and responsibilities as defined by management

 Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Business, or equivalent
  • 2-3 Years experience in a data management role or analytical role
  • Experience with Salesforce.com
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel
  • Fluency in SQL
  • Ability to work independently
  • Proven ability to develop models for accurate reporting and analysis
  • Obsessive attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Recognized communication skills

 Assets

  • Experience in a Business Analyst function
  • Fluency in French
  • Interest in technology 
  • Experience with Looker and LookML
