Business Analyst - Marketing
Lightspeed is looking for a full-time Business Analyst to join our Information Systems team. The Business Analyst is responsible for analysing business needs from various stakeholders in Marketing, translating them into both operational and technical requirements, all while facilitating implementation. The candidate will work with multiple technical teams across the company, and the scope will cover multiple marketing tools such as marketing automation (Pardot), attribution, and lead generation. The Business Analyst will play a key role in bridging the gap between business objectives and marketing technology solutions to optimise internal marketing processes.
Role:
- Facilitate improvements to business processes via collaboration with business stakeholders across departments
- Own and manage documentation for new and existing marketing systems and processes
- Understand business needs, define problem statements and facilitate solution implementation
- Partner with global internal stakeholders; build relationships in order to stay close to the ever-changing business needs
- Transform functional requirements gathered from business stakeholders into architected solutions in collaboration with solution architects and technology teams
- Constantly assess current state of processes, tools, and systems; provide recommendations as needed to seize new opportunities as they arise

- Scalable recommendations and realization of robust solutions
- A high degree of quality in work performed, measured by the absence of rework and reported issues
- Recognized team and stakeholder satisfaction resulting from generally great work!
Experience:
- Advanced knowledge and experience with marketing platforms (Pardot, Marketing automation, Facebook Ads, Google Ads etc.)
- Good knowledge of web analytics & attribution (Google Analytics, Marketo Measure etc.)
- Knowledge of marketing KPIs (ROI, conversion rate, sales funnels, etc.)
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRMs
- Experience with Agile (Scrum) is an asset
Skills:
- Good English; other languages are an asset!
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Remarkable ability to analyze business needs and transform them into technical requirements
- Recognized communication style
- Approachable but with a rigorous approach to delivery
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
