New to Lightspeed Retail — Customer Facing Display and Multi-Store Pricing
Today, we’re excited to introduce two new features to Lightspeed Retail: customer facing display and multi-store pricing. Both of these have been among the most popular features requested, and we want to make sure that they work perfectly for every retailer that uses them. That’s why we’re launching them in private beta.

Here’s a little bit about what to look forward to:
Customer Facing Display
A customer facing display allows your clients to see the items being scanned and the total price of their purchase in real-time. You can use it simply by plugging a second display into your computer, or by logging into Lightspeed Retail from any tablet — including an iPad — and selecting Customer Facing Display.
Additionally, customer facing displays are required by law in some US states, such as California and Nevada.
You can use multi-store POS pricing to set different selling prices for the same SKU per location, whether it be based on differences in the cost of operations or in order to take advantage of localized trends. With the new multi-store pricing, it’s easy to set selling prices on a store-by-store basis, and see all of them on the product overview page.
