LightSpeed celebrates alongside HARMAN at their flagship store launch

In a remarkably immense and ultra-cool Manhattan retail space, executives and CEOs from LightSpeed and HARMAN toasted to the opening of HARMAN’s first North American retail store. The star-studded party was kicked off to the beat of DJ Cassidy and continued to buzz with the sounds of performances by R&B singer Miguel. The festivities lived up to the prestige of the brand and modern opulence of the store, which opens its doors to the public this Friday.

HARMAN is world renowned for their premium quality audio products such as high-performance loudspeakers, sound systems for the automotive industry, headphones, and other audio equipment for both professional and at-home use. Located in the heart of New York City, the HARMAN store will attract curious shoppers and music aficionados alike, allowing the brand to be much more customer-facing. Along with selling products from HARMAN’s 15 brands including JBL™, harman/kardon™ and AKG™, the store will also become a stage for DJ sets and educational seminars about creating an ideal audio experience.

This Grammy award-winning brand understands how superior technology affects the listening experience, and their devotion to cutting-edge innovation also is evident in their in-store shopping experience. HARMAN will be using LightSpeed’s sleek mobile point of sale technology to help manage purchases in the new two-floor store, opening November 22nd, 2013 at 527 Madison Avenue.
