Dashboard – Your store at a glance

While technically a part of StoreMaster, the Dashboard is one of the biggest new additions to LightSpeed for Mac; we wanted to give it some time in the spotlight. Dashboard harnesses the power of LightSpeed’s built-in analytics tools and distills your store’s data into widgets that are easy to read and totally customizable.

There are four types of widgets that you can install on your Dashboard, and each widget has its own settings for things like date ranges and whether to include taxes or not.

Number Widgets: These widgets display a single number, such as the Average Invoice Total, Total Sales or Total Products Returned.

Graph Widgets: Sales by Hour and Total Sales Comparison are displayed as detailed graphs.

List Widgets: The largest group of widgets, you can display lists of Top Sales by Customer, Product, User (salesperson), and more.

Sales Target Widget: The sole widget in this category allows you to see your store’s progress reaching sales targets in any time period from daily to annually.

Each LightSpeed user has their own dashboard with their own widgets, so you can tailor the Dashboard for each individual’s job. For example, a salesperson can focus on targets and top sales by user, whereas a buyer might be more interested in top selling products by class and supplier.
